Click and drag the new folder back to the Empire Total War section in the file explorer using destonation from above. Open your new folder and both downloads should appear.ġ3. Now drag both part 1 and part 2 that you just opened onto the new folder you just created. Right click your screen and create a new folder.ġ1. It will open it for you and put the new icon on your desktop.ġ0. Next click on 'Extract to' at the top and choose your desktop. Open winrar and your dowload should be there. Click and drag the part 2 icon on your desktop over top of your winrar icon.ĩ. This will provide you with a desktop icon to unpack/extract part 2 of your darthmod download.

Follow the on screen instructions to install it. Now this is were I think people are getting confused.ħ. Click and drag them off the page to your desktop.Ħ. Now open your file explorer and navigate through the same path as written.you should see both of your dowloads there. Dowload part 2 to same location like you did before.ĥ. Click 'save as' and click on MyPC, WindowsC, Programsx86, steam, steam apps, common and finally Empire Total War.this will send your dowload to that location in your file explorer.Ĥ. Click download part 1 but dont click run when prompted. You have to use your regular internet browser from your desktop (not your steam overlay)ģ. None of the full downloads from the forum seem to be working, so I used ModDB part 1 and 2.Ģ. There is probably an eisier way of doing this, I know, but none of the forum responses I've read are very clear or are out of date.ġ.
I just recently got this to work for me and I'll try to describe each step I followed without hardly any hassle (except waiting for stuff to download). Ive been seeing a lot of posts from people who cant get Darthmod to install or keep having the message "please insert disk 2" on the download screen.
